I’m not a gamer, I’ve never been good at them, but I am a stickler for quality. This is a very nice charger. I was waiting for a cheap chinese piece of junk, honestly, for the price, but this thing rocks. Only con is will the lad lose the adaptors? I labeled a medicine bottle right away and put them in it for him.
Don’t worry about ordering one of these, they’re nice. As a side note, the adaptors don’t fit his older controllers, which are DreamGEAR. They are curved at the front whereas the Sonys are straight. But they could be made to work with any controller, with a bit of filing on the clear plastic.

I replaced my now non-functioning Energizer charge station (due to the fragile connectors) with this and could not be happier. It works flawlessly, is durable, and requires absolutely no force to seat the controllers due to the docking attachments. The attachment does not get in the way at all during play. Based on some other revies I believe they have changed the brightness of the charge indicator lights since mine are very acceptable and kind of pleasing to the eye. I only wish they would release a 4-controller version (and maybe add some USB ports on the unit like the energizer)…I guess I’ll just buy another for my other two controllers. FYI, the unit looks clunkier and larger in the pics than it really is…it’s a little more stylish in person.

I bought this for my father in law and liked what I saw. So I bought one for myself and I love it. The charging aspect plugs rightinto the usb port on the charger, however it stays put and does not interfere with the operation of the controller. When you place it in the charger it is very simply just dropped into place. No lining up usb port as in other charging systems. Great product!!!

I have a PS3 console that has only two usb port. We are playing a lot of RockBand so we usually just keep the RockBand stuff connected to the PS3, and it is a pain to disconnect all that stuff.
This charger works really really well. One of the main feature is the plastic connector piece that is inserted in the USB port of the controller. Put them in both controller, and voila! The only thing needed now to charge the controller is to drop the controller in the charger. No need to play with USB cable anymore. It charges really well too. The other feature I like too is the color change when the controller is fully charge.
It is a great and affordable charger, definitely beat having to deal with USB cable all the time.
